#863 - By Richard Orban, the author of International Gran Prix, a game I like a lot. This is a simulation game, written in Integer BASIC. This is the 1979 version. The requirements for the game to run was a 13-sec controller card and integer basic in memory.

Disk structure
This is a non standard DOS 3.2 disk. It has 13-sec and 35 tracks. Markers are not changed but... as from track 3, sectors are numbered 0/2/4/6/8/A/C/E/10/12/14/16/18 instead of 0 to C. Funny thing!
The track organization is as follows:
- T0-T2: DOS 3.2
- T3-T10: nada
- T11: VTOC
- T12-T1F: files
- T20-T22: nada

How to copy

- T12-T1F: files
- T20-T22: nada

How to copy
We'll use our perfect copy machine. Those with a Wildcard card can do the same. We'll let the program boot, then we'll enter the control panel of the IIgs and copy the RWTS into another bank.

Once loaded, enter the monitor
move the RWTS from bank 0 to bank 10
We have the weird DOS 3.2 RWTS in memory.

Boot my copy disk
Launch Advanced Demuffin 1.4
Press P to bypass boot
Enter the monitor
move the RWTS from bank 10 to bank 0
Press ctrl-Y to return to the program
Copy T11-T1F
==> We now have a non bootable DOS 3.2.5 disk. The objective was to have all files. We must reconstruct a bootable disk now.

Boot DOS 3.3 Master disk
Insert a blank disk in drive 2
INIT HELLO,D2
=> We have a DOS 3.3 formatted disk.

Now launch Copy II Plus (a version prior to v9 please)
Insert the DOS 3.3 Master disk in drive 1
Keep your freshly formatted disk in drive 2
Copy A to B the following files: HELLO, LOADER.OBJ0, FPBASIC, INTBASIC
Now rename HELLO,STARTUP on drive 2
Change boot program from HELLO to STARTUP on drive 2
Now, insert the DOS 3.2.5 of Three Mile Island in drive 1
Copy all files onto drive 2

Now, swap the disks and boot drive 1
Press Control-C to interrupt DOS 3.3 loading
We will create a text file to launch INT basic and run the game:

10 D$=CHR(4)
20 PRINT D$;"OPEN RUNME"
30 PRINT D$;"WRITE RUNME"
40 PRINT D$;"INT"
50 PRINT D$;"RUN THREE MILE ISLAND"
60 PRINT D$;"CLOSE RUNME"
RUN
=> A new text file is on the disk...

LOAD STARTUP
100 PRINT D$;"EXEC RUNME"
110 END
SAVE STARTUP
=> We've updated the boot program to execute the text file. To be honest, that's the only way I've found to switch to INT basic and run a file... Ahem!

The disk image is available at http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/crack/

Reboot and... enjoy,
