#949 - Welcome to the hills of Judea, fourteenth century B.C. You are a wandering Israelite searching for a huge hoard of wealth, the legendary Treasure of the Seven Nations. Your quest will end when you find and claim the treasure.
Disk structure
This is a non copyable double-sided 5.25" disk that runs under a modified DOS 3.3.
There are no extra tracks.
The volume number is 254.
Protection type
The first protection is a change of the epilog markers: FFFFEB instead of DEAAEB.
The second protection is a nibble check at $BB00.
The third protection is a change of the nibble translation table at $BA29. The first value 96 is replaced with AA.
The fourth protection (which is linked to the previous one) is to change some values in the RWTS area.
When we encounter so many changes in the critical RWTS area, it is better to use a standard and freshly formatted DOS 3.3 disk.
How to copy
Boot a DOS 3.3 master disk
Code: |
Insert a blank disk in drive 2
INIT A,D2
Boot my copy disk and launch Advanced Demuffin 1.4
Insert The Philistine Ploy in drive 1
Press B to get the RWTS
Copy T3S0 to T22SF
|
How to normalize
There is nothing to do, we've done by using a standard DOS 3.3 disk.
Repeat the same operation for side B.
The disk images are available at http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/crack/
Reboot and... enjoy,
LoGo
